Use these settings when you define a new user or adjust user authorization. They are used only when a module requires user authorization.

Local user |
Uses INVOICES' built-in system to control user access. The user must enter a user name and password to log in to the module. The Local user settings become available. |

Network user |
The user's authorization will be confirmed based on his identity as a logged-in Windows user. The Network user settings become available. |
|
Network group |
The user's authorization will be confirmed based on his identity as a logged-on member of a Windows group. The Network group settings become available. |
Note: If a network user or group is specified, the user cannot log in as a local user.
