Use this procedure to create your own batch variables that are similar to the standard ones. You can then use these in the same way as standard ones. More information.
Using Manager, click the Batch report layouts object bar.
Double-click the batch report layout where you want to add a new batch variable.
In the Batch report layout dialog, type a name and format for your new variable. (Rules.)
Click OK to close the dialog.
Tip: Another alternative is to create user-defined variables for batches using the API. These can then be used to route batches to workstations.
