You can define single item fields for these special purposes:

A field whose value is typed in by the Verify operator. |
|
|
A field whose value is set and used by an external program. The field is not shown to the Verify operator. The field status is set to Complete. |

|
A field whose value is set to 1 if a specified title text appears on the invoice. |
To create these fields, select these field treatment settings in the Options settings:

Select No interpretation. |
|
|
Select No interpretation and No verification. |
|
|
Select Title occurrence sets value. (More information.) |
