Automatch Optimizer Usage

The Automatch Optimizer is a part of the Configuration manager.

The Automatch optimizer lets you manage the item mapping match rules that have been added during manual matching of purchase order invoices. You can view existing rules by involved supplier and supplier site. The item aliases for the mapping match rule mapping can be deleted and edited and you can create new alternative rules before additional matching is performed.

The item mapping match rules are based on item aliases. When a new item alias is created, the Automatch optimizer looks in already approved purchase orders and suggest item descriptions used in these. These can be overwritten manually if desired.

When typing purchase order description the system looks up and automatically suggests between all distinct purchase descriptions from existing purchase orders for this supplier and site.
