First Time Installation Verification

Verify WebLogic Data Sources

  1. Log into the Oracle WebLogic Console.
  2. Navigate to JDBC Data Sources.
  3. Test each data source in the testing table via Test Data Sources.

Verify OC4J Data Sources

  1. Log into ASControl.
  2. Navigate to oc4j_soa.
  3. Navigate to the tab Administration.
  4. Go to the tab JDBC Resources.
  5. Use Test Connection for each BPEL Data Source, including:
    • D4_DB_APPS_DS
    • D4_DB_D4_DS
    • D4_OEBS_APPS_DS

Application Level Checks

  1. Perform a PROCESSIT login with the credentials: username : setup | password : welcome
  2. Verify that the Console Worklist window displays without errors.
  3. Log out of PROCESSIT.
  4. Log in to PROCESSIT with a valid Oracle EBS user. This varies by implementation.
  5. Verify that the Console Worklist window displays without errors.
  6. Navigate to Configuration Manager.
  7. Navigate through a couple of options and ensure no errors are displayed.

Upgrade Verification

Application Level Checks

  1. Perform a PROCESSIT login with the credentials: username : setup | password : welcome
  2. Verify that the Console Worklist window displays without errors.
  3. Log out of the PROCESSIT.
  4. Log in to PROCESSIT with a valid Oracle EBS user. This varies by implementation.
  5. Verify that the Console Worklist window displays without errors.
  6. Confirm that the worklist tasks that were previously available are still available in the Console Worklist.
  7. Navigate to Configuration Manager.
  8. Navigate through a couple of options and ensure no errors are displayed.
