Use the search function

The search function is available in several categories and subcategories of the Worklist.

To perform the search, click the Search button next to the name of the Worklist category, and define the search criteria in the dialog window.

  • You can use wildcard search for both text and numeric values. Enter * before or after the value to search for instances ending or beginning with this value. Enter * both before and after the value to search for all combinations containing the specified value.

  • Max. number of hits defines the number of items displayed in search results.

  • In date fields, select the date on the calendar or type it in the mm/dd/yyyy format .

  • For numeric values, use a period to separate the fractional part, such as 50.00 or 33.7. Any commas present in a numeric value are ignored. For example, when you enter "100,00", the search is performed for the value "10000".

  • Click Reset to clear all boxes and restore lists to default values.

Invoice search

The search criteria in the Invoices search dialog window are organized into tabs.

  • Status

    Select one or several statuses.

  • Basic Selection

    Vendor

    This box is the key search field. If you enter search criteria in this box and additional criteria in the other boxes, the search will be based primarily on the criteria specified in the "Vendor number" box.

    Enter single or multiple values. Separate multiple values with spaces or semicolons. Ranges are not supported.

    Record ID

    Enter single or multiple numeric values. Numeric values support ranges. Separate multiple values with spaces or semicolons, and use hyphens for ranges. The second value in a range must be greater than the first.

    Your invoice ref.

    Enter single and multiple values. Separate multiple values by semicolons. Ranges are not supported.

    Purchasing doc.

    Enter single or multiple values. Separate multiple values with spaces or semicolons. Ranges are not supported.

    Gross amount

    Enter single or multiple numeric values. Numeric values support ranges. Separate multiple values with spaces or semicolons, and use hyphens for ranges. The second value in a range must be greater than the first.

    For decimals, use a period to separate the fractional part.

    Negative values are not supported. To view negative values, sort the search results by Gross Amount. Negative values are displayed at the top of the list.

  • Business unit and Currency

    Click one search criterion or use Ctrl to select multiple criteria. Use the > and < buttons to move the selected criteria to and from the Selected list. The >> and << buttons move all items from the corresponding list.

  • Payment info

    Payment ref. supports single or multiple text values. Separate multiple values with spaces or semicolons. Ranges are not supported.
