Restructuring documents

Documents can be moved, split, merged, and added when you use Verification's restructuring mode. Activate it by selecting Restructuring allowed in the process step for the Verification activity.

Note: In restructuring mode you cannot work with fields.

To switch to the restructuring mode during Verification, click .

Click one of these buttons to select what to see:

 

Moving a document, sheet, page, or image

In the Documents pane, select the documents, sheets, pages, or images to be moved. Drag them to a new position and drop them there.

To make a document a sub-document, drag it to an existing document.

 

Splitting a document

In the Documents pane, click a sheet. Then right-click it and select Split document to split the document from that sheet onward.

 

Merging documents

In the Documents pane, click a document. Then right-click it and select Join document to add all sheets in the current document to the previous document. The current document is deleted.

Alternatively, select Join with parent document. This function adds all the pages of the current document to the parent document (the document immediately above the selected one in the hierarchy) and deletes the current document.

When you are done working in Verification, save the root document.
