This activity straightens skewed TIFF and JPEG images, and then it rotates them to the correct reading direction. It processes the root document and all sub-documents recursively.

You can also use the Deskew function in the Process Images activity.
If for some reason you need to add this activity to the Process Designer, the file to add is xboundActAutoRotate.dll.
The following settings are available when configuring a process step of this activity type.
Select whether back pages are to be rotated exactly like the front pages (), or if they are to be rotated mirror-inverted (), or if they are to be rotated independently (). | |
Select whether to apply content-based rotation after deskewing:
Tip: If deskewing does not have the desired result, try in the Process Images activity. | |
Select whether the straightening is to start from the top or bottom. | |
Select whether the straightening is to start from the left or right. | |
Select if the processing is to be applied to media whose flag is set. | |
