Delete Documents activity
This activity deletes documents from XBOUND when the processing is finished in XBOUND. Only documents with one task are deleted.
Important:
Because XBOUND is not an archiving system, deleting documents is important.
You can use one of the Export Documents
activities to send documents to an external archive system before
deletion. You can also export
documents to different directories based on document type. But documents
must be regularly deleted from XBOUND.
Recommended: Include Delete Documents as the last process step and configure a time delay (for example, 30 days).
Note: This activity must be assigned to an Activities Service in order to run.
If for some reason you need to add this activity to the Process Designer, the file to add is xboundActCompletionDeleteDocument.dll.
There are no settings available for this activity.
As always, the dialog contains and buttons for importing or exporting settings from this process step. However, since this process step contains no settings, the buttons have no reasonable application.
Tip: Documents can also be canceled in the XBOUND Document Verifier or deleted using the Process Monitor.
