Using the Process Designer, you can configure delaying processing in a process rule. Then documents that arrive at the process step after that rule are given the status Waiting. Or, to be more accurate, the tasks for those documents are given the status Waiting.
This system agent provides access to waiting tasks whose waiting times have expired. It runs in the background and Willochecks all waiting tasks. If their delay time has elapsed, the agent changes their status from Waiting to Ready.
You can use this setting to change how frequently waiting tasks are checked:
How often (in seconds) the agent searches for tasks to be resubmitted. In a production environment, an interval of 1800 seconds (a half hour) is a reasonable value, and that is the default setting. |
