Configuring a system agent

After you add a system agent and assign it to an XBOUND System Agent Service, you must configure and enable the agent -- or, rather, the specific instance of the agent that is executed by the selected XBOUND System Agent Service.

Use this procedure:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the System Agent Manager.

  2. Under Computers and Services, select the System Agent Service (xboundSystemAgentService).

  3. Under Subscriptions, select the agent.

  4. Optional: In the Rename column, click the button and type a new name for the system agent assignment.

  5. Specify settings for the agent by clicking the button. The settings that are available depend on the type of system agent:

  6. Click OK.

  7. Enable the agent configuration by selecting Enabled.

Tip: Agent settings can also be exported and imported.
