Use these settings when configuring a process step that crops images.
When you add or edit a cropping process, a wizard helps you with the settings. Your two initial options are listed below, with the subsequent settings that are available in the wizard:
You are prompted by the wizard to specify how many units (pixels or mm) to crop from the margins.
Next, you are given the option to select and select which document type to apply the settings to.
Finally, in you can adjust the settings for , and .
You are prompted by the wizard to specify one of these:
– Use this option to define an area of the image to keep based on a fixed starting point on the image.
– Use this option to define an area of the image to keep based on one of these positions in the image: , , , or .
Then you specify the and of the part of the image to keep, in pixels or mm.
Next, you are given the option to select and select which document type to apply the settings to.
Finally, in you can adjust the settings for , and .
If the option is selected in the main settings (see Process Images activity: Crop images), the settings are also available when defining the areas.
