XBOUND Document Verifier

Note: Do not confuse the Document Verifier with RCF Verification.

Use this stand-alone application to verify and correct the structure of documents. You can also use it to check whether barcodes were detected correctly and to classify documents or images.

The configuration of the Verify Documents process step controls some of the behavior and functionality of the Document Verifier.

Start the XBOUND Document Verifier by selecting Start menu > All Programs > ReadSoft > ReadSoft XBOUND Document Verifier.

For example, you can:

• select and open documents for processing

• create sub-documents or move sub-documents

• separate a document

• move sheets to other documents

• change sheet order within a document

• adjust the display

• rescan images

• cancel documents or cancel sheets (this excludes them from further processing)

• add or delete barcode data

• classify a document or classify an image

• rotate an image

• inspect images

• manually add a separator in a document

• print single sheets or entire documents

After you are done, you either:

• save a document

• close a document without saving it
  

Note: Sheet ID numbers can change when you process root documents in Document Verifier, even if the structure of the root document remains unchanged.
