Changing the appearance of a process diagram

Various XBOUND plug-ins display a selected process as a diagram. In the Process Designer, Process Monitor, or SLA Report Manager, you can use the below procedure to adjust what it looks like.

Note: The adjustments made in the Flow Chart Layout Manager dialog only apply to the current view. For example, if you open the Flow Chart Layout Manager from the Process Designer, your changes will not affect how the same process looks in the Process Monitor, nor will they affect the appearance of other processes.

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Process Designer, Process Monitor, or SLA Report Manager.

  2. Click the Flow Chart Manager button ().

  3. The Flow Chart Layout Manager dialog is displayed. Here you can:

    • Change the shape of the flow chart:

      1. Click one of the layout buttons:

      2. In some cases, there are a couple of settings that you can adjust. (The settings for the different layouts are described here.)

      3. Click Apply at the bottom of the dialog.

    • Click Extended Settings () and use the additional settings to further adjust how the diagram is displayed. (The settings for the different layouts are described here.)

    • In the Overview pane, move the square around to zoom in on the selected area in the plug-in that you are working in.

    • Click Zoom to Fit () to fit the diagram to the available space. (You can resize the available space without closing the Flow Chart Layout Manager.)

Or, click Zoom In or Zoom Out ( or ) to magnify or reduce the diagram incrementally.
