Updating a translation

Note: When your translation is ready to be implemented and tested, you will need the strong name key file that enables you to generate satellite assemblies for XBOUND DLLs. Ensure that the file is still available from when you previously translated the XBOUND user interface, or contact your ReadSoft distributor to obtain this file.

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Localization Manager.

  2. Click the New XBOUND Translation Project button (). The Project Settings dialog is displayed.

  3. Specify a name for your localization project, which language to translate from, and which translation you want to update.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Click the Import Translation Project button ().

  6. Navigate to and double-click the previous translation project file (an XML file). The previous translation is displayed in the right column.

  7. Click the Filter button () and select Only changed entries. Now you see only those entries that are changed in the new version of XBOUND.

  8. Translate the changed entries as described in Translating the XBOUND interface.

  9. Implement and test your translation.
