Overview
SignDoc Browser Capture is a JavaScript library that can capture handwritten signatures in a web application on the client side with an easy-to-use API. SignDoc Browser Capture provides a customizable user interface and returns the captured signature in the ISO signature format. The captured signature can then be further processed on the server side, for example, with the SignDoc SDK.
Signatures are captured with an attached signature pad or directly with the browser/web application. Capturing signatures with an attached signature pad requires the installation of additional software on a client machine and is only available for Windows. Refer to SignDoc Device Connector Help for a detailed description. In the SignDoc Browser Capture API this software is called "DeviceConnector server." Capturing signatures directly in the browser/web application is also called "HTML5 capturing."
