G4 Server

  • The "SQL Always On availability group" is supported for the SQL Server of the primary SafeCom Application server. See the "SQL Always On" chapter of the Kofax SafeCom G4 Server Administrator's Guide for the necessary requirements and configuration options.

  • Database operations are implemented on T-SQL bases. Microsoft SMO and RMO libraries are not deployed with the product.

  • The SafeCom DevUtil tool is updated. The DevUtilConsole tool is introduced for device-related batch operations. Refer to the Kofax SafeCom G4 Administrator's Guide for details.

  • Sending mail through secure SMTP.

  • Support for current versions of third-party components.
