Manage trace logging

Trace logging generates detailed low-level trace log data for key product components across tenants, enabling you to trace logging information for tenants in the system.

You must be an administrator to manage trace logging.

You can enable trace logging per tenant to focus on troubleshooting specific tenants and reduce the overall log volume. You can specify the location for logs and add logging configuration for specific tenants.

You can configure logging on a per-tenant basis directly within the Tenant Management System to focus on troubleshooting specific tenants and reduce the overall log volume. You can:

  • Independently enable or disable logging for specific tenants.

  • Apply tenant-specific log levels.

  • Configure log collection.

Before configuring trace logging for tenants, you must provide a location for storing log data. This location is used for storing logging data of all tenants.

The ability to configure logging on a per-tenant basis helps in improved troubleshooting, efficient performance analysis, customized logging levels, optimized data storage, and reduced system downtime.
