Replacing a page

The Replace option available in the context menu for thumbnail pages lets you easily refresh pages by scanning and replacing the current images. This action removes all outdated renditions, annotations, and OCR words associated with the pages. Additionally, the new images are treated as unprocessed, allowing for an effective reset of your content. If multiple pages are selected for replacing, they must be consecutive ones. The selected pages must reside within one document.

The PDF files cannot be imported during replace operation, and attempting to do so results in an error and cancels the replace operation. If you try to import a mix of image files and PDF files during the replace operation, only the image files are uploaded, and all PDF files will be skipped.
