Connect to Tungsten TotalAgility
This step in the conversion tool allows you to connect to the Tungsten TotalAgility web service.
To prevent errors with conversion, the same Tungsten TotalAgility user cannot have multiple instances of the Transformation Converter connected to the same Tungsten TotalAgility server. Also, it is not possible to run the Transformation Converter and the Transformation Designer at the same time when using the same user credentials. An error message is displayed and the connection either times out or fails.
Provide the following information:
- Web service connection

Enter the path to the Tungsten TotalAgility server.
- User name

Enter a valid user name.
This setting is disabled when using Federated security.
- Password

Enter the password for the associated user name. Click on the eye icon at the right to reveal the password.
This setting is disabled when using Federated security.
If you are using Tungsten TotalAgility user credentials, enter the User name and Password before pressing Log On.
If you are using Windows authentication, leave the User name and Password fields blank and click Log On.
If you are using Federated security, the User name and Password fields are disabled. Click Log On to be redirected to the Federated security log on page.
Use the following buttons to access Tungsten TotalAgility and navigate through the conversion tool.
- Log On

Once you have entered the web service connection and a username and password, press this button to connect to the Tungsten TotalAgility server.
- Log Off

If you are already logged on to a Tungsten TotalAgility web service, press this button to disconnect from the Tungsten TotalAgility server.

Navigate to the previous step in the conversion tool if it is available.
- Next

Navigate to the next step in the conversion tool if it is available.
- Log

The log records all steps taken by the user, including connection problems or errors with the conversion. This information is useful for troubleshooting.
The log information is stored in memory only while the conversion tool is opened. To view the log in Notepad, click on the Open Log button. You can even save the log file for future reference.
