JpegDecoder Class |
An ImageDecoder used to read JPEG images from a Stream.
Namespace: Atalasoft.Imaging.Codec
The JpegDecoder type exposes the following members.
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
| JpegDecoder | Initializes a new instance of a JpegDecoder. | |
| JpegDecoder(JpegScaleFactor) | Initializes a new instance of a JpegDecoder specifying the Jpeg scaling factor. |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
| ScaleFactor | Gets or sets a value indicating the scale factor to use when reading Jpeg's. | |
| SupportedImageType | Obsolete. Returns a Jpeg ImageType enumeration value. (Overrides ImageDecoderSupportedImageType.) |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
| Equals | Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object. (Inherited from Object.) | |
| Finalize | Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.) | |
| GetBestScale | Gets the best scale given a requested scale factor. For a JPEG, this would result in either 1, 1/2, 1/4,
1/16, or 1/32 | |
| GetHashCode | Serves as the default hash function. (Inherited from Object.) | |
| GetImageInfo | Retreive information from a Jpeg image stored in a Stream without decoding the image data. (Overrides ImageDecoderGetImageInfo(Stream).) | |
| GetType | Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.) | |
| IsValidFormat | Returns true if the specified Stream contains a Jpeg image. | |
| MemberwiseClone | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) | |
| Read | Returns an AtalaImage from a Stream containing a Jpeg encoded image. (Overrides ImageDecoderRead(Stream, ProgressEventHandler).) | |
| ReadScaled | Gets an AtalaImage of the requested scale. | |
| ToString | Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.) |
By default, when opening a Jpeg image using the AtalaImage or Workspace objects, this decoder will automatically be selected from the RegisteredDecoders and does not have to be explicitly set.
Jpeg images can store metadata such as EXIF and IPTC into the images. See the Atalasoft.Imaging.Metadata namespace for more information on reading this information from a Jpeg image.
