Masked areas

Masked areas can be defined to hide information on a document from an operator. When the document is displayed, the Document Viewer displays the defined areas masked in either black or white, which means that they are not visible to the operator.

Documents that display masked areas have some restrictions:

• The masked area does not display OCR text so you cannot click or drag to insert OCR text.

• You cannot move any of the pages in a document with multiple pages. you can however, move an entire document that one or more mask.

• You cannot merge a document that has one or more masks to another document. You can however, merge a non-masked document do a document with masks.

• You cannot delete pages.

• You cannot split a document.

• You cannot rotate a page.

• You cannot add a page.

• You cannot copy a page.
