The General tab has the following fields when you select the Fax destination.
The destination name, which is visible in the destination selection list when you are creating shortcuts. The name must be unique on the server.
Require one of the following authentication methods to access the destination:
Current Credentials: Uses the credentials (User ID/Password) for the currently logged in Kofax Front Office Server user.
Enter Credentials: Uses credentials that differ from the currently logged in Kofax Front Office Server user, based on the following:
User ID for the account that has permissions to access the fax server.
The password associated with the User ID in the previous field.
The type of destination. For more information about the predefined destination types, see Creating and Editing Destinations.
User ID for the account that has permissions to access the fax server.
The password associated with the User ID in the previous field.
An optional description for the destination.
The type of fax server (Kofax Communication Server, Biscom, or RightFax) you are using for this destination.
Important If you select Biscom, make sure that the Kofax Front Office Server Service is running under an account that has permission to access the Biscom Server share folder. Otherwise, an error will occur when you attempt to save the destination settings.
The host name or IP address of the fax server.
