Re-scan

If a document has quality issues it is possible to configure your Quick Capture solution so that these documents are sent back and re-scanned. (Default: No)

When enabled, the following settings are available to configure when a document is re-scanned:

Re-scan after

This group has the following settings that enable you to re-scan after the selected Quick Capture steps. The steps available in this list depend on what User Operations steps are enabled. All re-scan steps are selected by default. The following steps are possible:

Classification

This step is always available for re-scan, regardless of what User Operations are selected. When selected, if there are problems with the classification results, the document is sent back for re-scan. (Default: Selected)

Review

This step is available only when the Review step is enabled. Select this setting to enable Review operators to send a poor document for re-scan. (Default: Selected)

Extraction
This step is always available for re-scan, regardless of what User Operations are selected. When selected, if there are problems with extraction, the document is sent back for re-scan. (Default: Selected)
Validation

This step is available only when the Validation step is enabled. Select this setting to enable Review operators to send an incorrectly classified or poor-quality document for re-scan. (Default: Selected)

Verification

This step is available only when the Validation step is enabled. Select this setting to enable Review operators to send an incorrectly validated or poor-quality document for re-scan. (Default: Selected)

Who can re-scan?

Add or create a list of users who can re-scan the document for this Quick Capture solution.

Average duration

Specify the average time that it takes to process the re-scan. (Default: 0)
