Assign one or more invalid reason
When a document is opened, the behavior of the Invalid Reason pane depends on whether or not an invalid reason is assigned to the document in a previous processing step. If one or more invalid reason is assigned to this document already, the pane is expanded automatically and the selected invalid reasons are displayed. An explanation for why a reason is assigned may also be displayed. The pane is collapsed when there are no invalid reasons assigned.
You can add one or more invalid reasons, by following these steps.
- Open a document.

If necessary, expand the
Invalid Reason pane by clicking the arrow on the right.
A list of invalid reasons is displayed.

Select one or more invalid reason and then click
Apply Changes.
If the Other invalid reason is available and selected, additional fields are displayed below the Apply Changes button. Enter a Comment and then select a Routing option from the list before clicking Apply Changes. These extra settings are mandatory.
- Optionally, remove one or more invalid reasons.
