Delete historical data

Use this procedure to delete historical data.

Historical data is retained indefinitely unless it is deleted. In a high-volume processing environment, the number of data records may increase significantly over a period of time and potentially become unmanageable. To avoid this issue, you can delete data periodically to ensure that dashboard data reflects the most current, relevant data.

  1. In the Loading column, click Load.
  2. In the Date range section, define the date range for deleting historical data:
    1. In the From date section, select the starting date. If you select Specific date, use the calendar control to set the date and time.
    2. In the To date section, select the ending date. If you select Specific date, use the calendar control to set the date and time.
  3. Click Delete data.

    When you click Yes in response to the confirmation prompt, the selected data is deleted for the specified date range.
