Use this pane to create and manage View layouts for mobile devices, tablets, and other screens. You can define layouts for landscape or portrait orientation, and for different screen resolutions.

A layout applies to the View if the width and height are equal to or less than the defined layout value. For example, the layout with the height of 800 pixels and width of 600 pixels applies when the size of the browser page is less than 800X600.

If you define the layout to apply only for the landscape orientation, then it applies when the device is held horizontally. The portrait only orientation applies for the vertical position of the device. If the layout is defined as both landscape and portrait, then it applies in both positions: horizontal and vertical.

To create, edit, and apply different layouts, do the following:

1. In Admin Console, verify that the role of the Themes and Formats user is assigned with the required permissions for working with themes: Can edit or Can use (or both). See the Kofax Insight Admin Console Help.

2. In Themes and Formats, create View layouts.

3. In Studio, edit the View by selecting the required layout. See the Kofax Insight Studio Help.
