Document Storage tab

Use this tab to select the export location for image files, and if applicable, for OCR Full Text and Kofax PDF files.

The availability of settings on the Document Storage tab may vary, depending on which Kofax product (Kofax Capture, Kofax TotalAgility, or other) you use with the export connector.

With Kofax Capture, the OCR Full Text and Kofax PDF settings are enabled on this tab if the OCR Full Text and PDF Generator modules are set as processing queues in the batch class definition. With OCR Full Text, OCR must also be enabled for the document class.
With Kofax Express, Kofax PDF settings are available if Kofax PDF is specified in the export settings for the job. OCR Full Text settings are not available with Kofax Express.

Other tabs:

Export image files

Select this check box if you want to export image files. Then select an export folder.

Export directory: Enter the path to the folder to which you want to export the files, or use Browse to select it.

Skip first page of each document

Select this check box if you do not want to export the first page of your documents. For example, this setting is useful if you are using document separator sheets in your batches and do not want to export the separator sheets.

If you are not using separator sheets, this setting causes the first page of each document to be excluded from the export process.

Export OCR full text files

Select this check box if you want to export OCR full text files.

With Kofax Capture, this check box is enabled automatically if the OCR Full Text module is set as a processing queue in the batch class definition and OCR is selected for the document class.

Export directory: Enter the path to the folder where you want to export the files, or use Browse to select it. If you do not specify an OCR full text export folder, OCR full text files will be discarded at export time.

Export Kofax PDF files

Select this check box to export Kofax PDF files.

With Kofax Capture, this check box is enabled automatically if the PDF Generator module is set as a processing queue in the batch class definition.

Export directory: Enter the path to the folder where you want to export the files, or use Browse to select it. If you do not specify a Kofax PDF export directory, the KEC setup cannot be saved.
