Document Options tab

Use this tab to select from a list of available permission sets and link Kofax Values to Documentum Server permission sets. You can also set full text indexing for OCR documents, and export your documents as virtual documents.

Permissions Set

Use these properties to define security options for your exported documents.

If a Documentum Server permissions set is not selected, the documents in the batch are assigned to the default security setting of the logged-in user.

Select Permissions Set

Select a pre-defined Documentum Server permissions set to use for your exported documents. All Documentum Server defined permission sets available to the logged in user appear. The default permission set is the first security setting available on the list.

Link Kofax Value to Documentum Permissions Set

Select a Kofax Value to define the permissions set to use for your exported documents. To do so, select a Documentum permission set property. A context menu button appears. Click the button to display a menu of options for the type of data to export. You can choose from the following:

Document Index Fields

Displays a list of document index fields defined for the document class. Available only if document index fields are defined for the document class.

Folder Index Fields

Displays a list of folder index fields defined for the folder class. Available only if folder index fields are defined for the folder class.

Batch Fields

Displays a list of batch fields defined for the batch class. Available only if batch fields are defined.

Kofax Values

Select this option to display a list of Kofax Values.

To use a text constant, enter the value to the field directly.

Documentum Server supports repeating values, which are properties that can contain multiple values. To allow a validation operator to enter multiple values, you must define an index field as a VARCHAR data type with a maximum length. Then, link the field to your Documentum Server property. The maximum length is 25,000 characters.

When entering multiple values for the field, the validation operator should use the comma (,) character to separate the values. The total length of the values entered for the field, including commas, cannot exceed the maximum length. At export time, the values are stored as a list in Documentum Server.

Set Full Text Indexing

Select the check box to use words found in the document as the search criteria for the document. OCR Full Text must also be enabled in Documentum Server for the object type, as specified on the Document Settings tab.

Convert document to Virtual Document

Select the check box to export all documents as virtual documents.

Save exceptions in

Click Browse to specify the location for document storage on the Documentum Server repository if there is an error during the export process. Note that you must specify an exception location.

Displays the Storage Object Browser window.
