Navigator panel
The Navigator panel shows folders and documents in a tree view.
In Document Review activity, the document type confidence value appears in parenthesis after the page count. This value
represents the degree of confidence the application has in the documentation type assignment. If you change the document type, the
text
Reclassified
replaces the percentage value.
Keyboard navigation
Use the following keyboard keys to navigate the tree:
-
TAB
-
SHIFT+TAB
-
UP and DOWN ARROWS
Selecting a document in the tree selects the corresponding item in the Multi-Document Thumbnail Viewer. If you select a folder, the viewer is empty, since there are no thumbnails associated with folders.
When the current focus is on a folder, press the Space bar or use the left and right arrow keys to expand or collapse the folder.. Press the ENTER key to select the folder.
Go to Thumbnailsshortcut.
Folder and document operations
Use standard drag and drop techniques to reorganize the items in the tree.
-
If you drop a document between other documents, the dropped document is moved to the parent folder of the targeted documents and is placed between the two documents.
-
If you drop a document between a folder and the first document in the folder, the dropped document becomes the new first document in the target folder.
-
If you drop a document on a folder, the dropped document becomes the new last document in the folder.
-
If you drop a folder on another folder it becomes the last child folder under the target folder. The folder retains the properties (type) after the move. Folders can only be dropped on other folders at the same level in the hierarchy as the original parent.
After you drop a document or folder in a new location, that item remains selected.
Document/folder context menu
Right-clicking a document or folder opens a context menu. Depending on the currently selected item, some of all of the following options may be available:
-
Delete— Deletes the currently selected document.
-
Create Folder— Creates a new child folder as the last folder under the current folder. If the root folder is selected, this is the only item in the context menu. This is disabled if additional folder levels are not allowed in the hierarchy.
Image operations
You can drop images from the Multi-Document Thumbnail Viewer into a document in the tree. The dropped images become the last images in the target document. When multiple images are selected, the original order of the selected images is retained after the drop. The parent item then becomes selected.
You can also use the documents in the
Navigation Panel to check the upload status for image files. If, when uploading, the name of a
document becomes highlighted (a red indicator appears to the left of the document), that document contains at least one image that
was not successfully uploaded. (Problem images will also be highlighted with a red
X
in the Multi-Document Thumbnail Viewer.) The application will continuously attempt to upload such images until it
succeeds or you delete them. If the problem is persistent, try deleting the problematic images and scan them again.
