Configure Standard Document Separation
Before configuring standard document separation, configure classification. Once you have configured classification, you can configure standard document separation by following these steps:
- On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings .
- Click the Document Separation tab to view the document separation settings.
- Click the Document Separation tab.

Standard Document
Separation.
Several additional options are enabled.
- Optionally, if you are scanning double-sided documents, select Duplex scan mode.
- Optionally, select a value for Unclassified pages should be handled as.
- Click OK to save your changes and close the Project Settings window.
- Open the Project Tree window if it is not already open.
- Open the Details window if it is not already open.
- For each class, configure Document Separation options in the Details window.
- Open the Documents window if it is not already open.
- Add training documents to the Classification Set for each class in your project.
- Confirmed the training documents in your Classification Set.

Train and
test your separation settings.
- Save the changes to your project.
