When you first open the Repository Browser, the initial view contains the following:

• Menu Bar

• Toolbar

• Status Bar

In addition, there are three empty panes as follows:

Repository

This pane enables you to browse the folders in the selected repository. The selected item and its details are displayed in the Properties pane. Expand a folder to view its documents.

Image Viewer

The central pane of the Repository Browser does not have a label, but when a document page is selected, an image is loaded into this pane.

Properties

This pane displays information about the selected item from the Repository pane.

Other windows open depending on your task. These include:

• The Fields window

• The Find window

• The Renditions window

• The Collection window

There is also a context menu that differs depending on what object is selected in the Repository pane when you right-click.

When browsing the repository, you can perform the following tasks:

• Load a folder

• View folder fields

• Select a document

• View document fields

• Find an item using the Search tool

• Export files to disk

• Save source files
