Manage Message Connector pools

You can configure Message Connector pools on the Tenant Management System.

Create a Message Connector pool

You can create a Message Connector pool and add multiple Message Connectors to it.

  1. On the header bar, click Configuration > Message Connector Pools.

    The Shared Message Connector Pools page appears. All the Message Connector pools are listed under All Pools.

  2. Click Create.

    The Add Pool panel appears.

  3. Enter a Name for the Message Connector pool.
  4. On the Data Center list, select On Premise Datacenter which is displayed by default.
  5. Add the Message Connectors to a pool.
    1. Click Create for Message Connectors.

      The Add Message Connector pop-up window appears.

    2. Enter the following details.
      Name

      A unique name for the Message Connector.

      Active

      Each pool must have at least one active Message Connector. (Default: Active)

      Message Connector URL

      Enter the URL of the Message Connector.

      Process Password

      Optional. Enter the process password If you have already specified in the Message Connector configuration; otherwise, leave the field empty.

    3. To verify the connection with the configured Message Connector, click Test Connection.
    4. Click Save.

      The newly added Message Connector appears in the table under Message Connectors.

      The Status column displays the connection status of the Message Connector as follows:

      • Green if the connection is successful.
      • Red if the connection fails.

    5. Add multiple Message Connectors to the Message Connector pool as needed.

      You cannot add the same Message Connector to a Message Connector pool multiple times. However, you can add the same Message Connector to different Message Connector pools.

  6. To save the Message Connector pool, click Save.

    The Message Connector pool is listed in the table under All Pools.

  7. Select the Message Connector pool and click Test.

    The status of the Message Connector pool is displayed in green if the connection of all the Message Connectors in the pool is successful or in red if the connection of any one of the Message Connectors fails.

  8. To refresh the table, click Refresh.

Update a Message Connector Pool

  1. In the Shared Message Connector Pools page, on the list of pools, select the Message Connector pool to update.

    The Update Pool list appears in the right panel.

  2. Update the pool to add a new Message Connector or edit an existing Message Connector, as needed.
  3. Click Save.

    The All Pools list displays the updated Message Connector pool.

Delete a Message Connector Pool

  1. In the Shared Message Connector Pools page, on the list of pools, select the Message Connector pool to delete and click Delete.

    A message appears to confirm the deletion.

  2. Click OK.

    The Message Connector pool is deleted from the list.
