Menu
XDoc Browser supports a standard, Windows-style menu bar.
The File menu has the following options:
- Load

Opens the file from Browse window to select a new XDoc.
- Recent

Shows a list of recently opened XDocs.
- Exit

Closes XDoc Browser.
The Options menu has the following options:
- Crosshair

Changes the mouse cursor into a crosshair. The current pixel position of the mouse pointer is displayed in the status area at the bottom of the left pane.
- Flying Highlight

As you click a word, it is selected and highlighted on the image viewer. The caption of the highlighting box displays the OCR result as ASCII text. The selection is persistent, so when you click the next word this is added to the selection. Use this option to look for OCR errors and optionally document them by selecting erroneous words and save the result by printing the screen.
Note In standard mode you can click with the mouse on any word displayed in the image viewer. The word pixel coordinates (left/top/width/height) are displayed in the status area on the bottom of the left pane.
The Document menu has the following options:
- Next

Opens the next document in the current batch.
- Previous

Opens the previous document in the current batch.
The Page menu has the following options:
- Next

Opens the next page of the current document.
- Previous

Opens the previous page of the current document.
The Help menu has the following options:
- Contents

Opens the XDoc Browser Help.
- About
-
Opens a window that contains the copyright statement, version number, and the build number.
