Use XDoc Browser
You can start
XDoc Browser
from the Windows Start Menu. A file browsing window is displayed that enables
you to select which XDoc to open. You can also link the extension
*.xdc
with the
XDoc Browser
application using the Windows extension linking option. By doing this you can
view an XDoc in
XDoc Browser
by double-clicking on any XDocument.
If an image file is linked to the XDoc when
XDoc Browser
is opened, it is displayed in the Viewer pane. In order for referenced images
to be loaded into
XDoc Browser,
they need to be located in the same directory as the XDoc. If no image is
referenced or the image is not present, the viewer pane displays a blank pane
and a
no image
message.
Kofax Transformation - XDoc Browser is a standalone program that is installed with Kofax Transformation Toolkit. This program provides direct access to the document representation that is used by Kofax Transformation Toolkit. With XDoc Browser, you can open and display an XDocument (XDoc) along with any referenced images for testing, demonstration, and debugging purposes.
It often is useful to look up an object reference in XDoc Browser when creating a script. The objects and values of the XDoc are explained in the Kofax Transformation Toolkit Script documentation.
