Image View tab
For the information about interacting with an image on the Image View tab, refer to Annotations toolbar and Image Manipulation toolbar.
Undock and dock Image View
Use Undock image and Dock image to detach and reattach the Image View window.
Undock image
When the
Image View window is docked (default), click the
Undock image icon
to detach and move the window anywhere on the screen, or to another monitor. After undocking the
Image View window, you can use the
Bring image to front icon
to position the window in front of all other application windows.
Dock image
When the
Image View window is undocked, click the
Dock image icon
or close the window to restore it to the original docked position.
When you need to switch from the undocked Image View to the main viewer window, press Shift+D.
Icon locations
The icons listed above are available in the following locations:

Right side of the expanded image area

Bottom of the collapsed image area
Keyboard shortcuts
Shift+U: Undock image, Bring image to front, change focus from the undocked Image View to the main viewer window.
Shift+D: Dock image.
You would not be able to change focus with Shift+U in the Microsoft Edge browser.
