Obtain the binary package

The binary application packages are available in ZIP files, one per packaging system.

You need visit the Kofax fulfillment site to download the ZIP file that contains the binary package supported on your operating system.

  1. Download the ZIP file with the supported package format.
    • On Red Hat-based systems, download the ZIP with a file name that ends with "_RedHat.zip".

    • On Debian-based systems, download the ZIP with a file name that ends with "_Debian.zip".

  2. Extract the .rpm or .deb package binaries from the downloaded file.

    The package is extracted to a subfolder named omnipage-csdk-<version number>-<build number>

  3. Use the cd command to change to the above folder for the subsequent commands to work.
