Verify your package manager

Before installation, you need to ensure that the Package Manager is available on your system.

1. Verify that the Package Manager is working on your system.

   • On Red Hat-based systems, check for the Red Hat Package Manager (rpm):

     which rpm

   • On Debian-based systems, check for the Debian Package Manager (dpkg):

     which dpkg
