CPU architecture considerations

Kofax OmniPage Capture SDK for Mac runs on all CPUs given in the Technical Specifications. However, the following features work only on Intel CPUs:

• Handwriting recognition (RM_RER)

• Recognition in Thai, Hebrew and Vietnamese languages

• RM_OMNIFONT_MOR engine

Running OmniPage License Manager (OPLicMgr) requires an Intel CPU or Apple silicon CPU with Rosetta. This affects only your development work when activating and managing licenses. Running your distributed application does not need Rosetta. For details on Rosetta installation, refer to the Apple documentation.
