This topic lists new features and enhancements introduced to the product in Kofax PSIsafe Desktop 12.2.0.
Product rebranding
The user interface and documentation are fully rebranded to reflect the current product name, Kofax PSIsafe Desktop. Earlier versions of PSIsafe did not include Kofax branding, as they were released prior to the acquisition of PSIGEN Software, Inc. by Kofax.
Please note the following changes related to rebranding:

PSIsafe Desktop: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe Desktop
- PSIsafe Books: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe Books
- PSIsafe PDF Forms Monitor: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe PDF Forms Monitor
- PSIsafe Open API: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe Open API
- PSIsafe Mobile: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe Mobile for Android and Kofax PSIsafe Mobile for iOS
- PSIsafe Synchronizer: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe Synchronizer
File access timeout tag
The file access timeout tag has been introduced to customize the time period that Kofax PSIsafe Desktop waits to access a file from the server before presenting an error to the user.
To set the timeout value in seconds, please add this line to the CNGServer.xml configuration file and configure the value according to your preferences:
<WaitForTheFileToExistTimeout>20</WaitForTheFileToExistTimeout>If this line is missing from the CNGServer.xml configuration file, the default timeout before an error message is displayed is 10 seconds.
