Annotations for highlighted areas
Users now can add annotation text for the highlighted areas. For details, refer to the About commenting a PDF section in the online help.
Create a document from the clipboard
Users can create a document from the clipboard content, using the command in the menu.
Import, export, and migrate comments
Users can import and export comments from or to a file. Also, users can migrate a set of comments from an earlier version of a document into the current version. For details, refer to the Export or import comments section in the online help.
Improved headers/footers and Bates numbering
Headers/footers and Bates numbering now work on multiple documents. For details, refer to the Bates numbering section in the online help.
Improved search features
The new Search Multiple feature supports searches in multiple files – including folder and index search –, Looks Like Search (TM) Patterns, and logical operators. For details, refer to the Search in multiple documents section in the online help.
Improved security
In addition to password security, users can grant or revoke permissions and manage digital IDs. For details, refer to the Digital identities overview section in the online help.
Perimeter and area measurement
In addition to distance, users can also measure the perimeter and area of polygons. For details, refer to the Measuring section in the online help.

Revamped user interface
Kofax Power PDF for Mac debuts with a revamped user interface similar to Power PDF for Windows. Windows users can work with the Mac version with a negligible learning curve.
Support for PDF tags and layers
Users can tag the elements of the PDF document to improve accessibility, help screen readers, and ease text and image extraction. Layer support is useful when working with architectural plans or preparing documents for a printing house. For details, refer to the Tag panel and Layers sections in the online help.
XFA form support
Power PDF lets you open PDF forms with XFA components, fill such forms and save them. For details, refer to the Forms section in the online help.
