Features and enhancements
-
Printix Go Brother is upgraded to support capture and workflow.
-
Printix Go Fujifilm is upgraded to support capture and workflow.
-
Accounting / Printix Go Ricoh: Printix tracks copy activity performed by the user when signed in to Printix Go.
-
Print rules: Two rules are introduced: Print 2-sided and Print in black. You can enable these rules for all users, or selectively based on a user's group membership. Optionally, you can configure that documents must have a specified number of pages or more to activate the print rules.
When print rules are enabled, the results may vary from one print vendor or print driver to another. Therefore, the rules may not work as expected with some print drivers.
-
Improved data redundancy: An in-memory database cache layer is introduced to increase performance and reduce the exposure to database outages and latency. As a result, users will have the ability to submit documents for printing, process captured documents, and access many parts of Printix Administrator, even while the database may be slow to respond. Also, outages should be shorter.
-
Multiple cloud storage options: Ability to use multiple cloud storage options and map networks (in the form of sites) to them to reduce latency. Supports Azure Blob Storage and Google Cloud Storage. Captured documents are not stored in Google Cloud Storage.
-
The default print drivers (for Printix Go supported printer vendors) are updated to newer versions.
-
Improved SNMP configuration management: Simplified management lets you see how many printers are using a given SNMP configuration.
-
Printix Cloud Print API is enhanced to return the serial number of printers.
-
Printix Client for Mac recognizes and supports guest accounts on MacOS by cleaning up the stored settings (and connected Printix account information) when the guest user signs out of the Mac computer.
-
