Open the General settings dialog.
Click the Logging tab.
Click

Select Rolling file log in the Log type drop-down list.
Type a description that tells you what it is used for. This will be visible and selectable on the Logging tab of the ReadSoft Collector General settings dialog.
Select the desired level of content in the Level drop-down list. The higher the number selected, the more information that is provided and the larger the log file is.
Click Next.
Specify where the log file is to be created (including the name of the file).
How to use environment variables in the path to separate log information.
Specify the maximum size of the file in kilobytes. When the log file reaches this size, and more information needs to be added, the oldest information in the file is removed to accommodate the new.
Select the desired Time format for entries in the log.
Click Finish.
