Searching for a specific LDP

When using Knowledge Processing, occasionally you may want to find a specific layout data point (LDP), for example if the LDP is corrupt or learned the incorrect document class.

  1. Obtain the identification number of the LDP that you want to search for. For example:

    1. In the Documents view of the XBOUND Process Monitor, find a document of the class that is causing problems.

    2. Click Fields.

    3. Find the XBOUND field named FatherLayoutDataPointID.

    4. Copy or note the field value. This identification number of the LDP.

  2. Start Knowledge Processing Explorer by selecting Start menu > ReadSoft > Capture Components > Knowledge Processing Explorer.

  3. In the Service host box, specify the ReadSoft Knowledge Processing Service host that is used.

  4. Select Find LDPs > By LDP ID. The Find LDP dialog is displayed.

  5. Type or paste the ID of the LDP that you want to find, and click Search. The LDP is displayed in the LDP selected for analysis pane. (Search results include both active and inactive LDPs.)
