The Manage conditions dialog

ClosedTo access this dialog:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Validation Designer. (For information about working with consoles, see XBOUND Help.)
  2. Under Process Navigation, select a process.
  3. Click the Check out button ().

  4. Select File > Conditions.

When you use conditional business logic, this dialog provides a useful overview and access point for adding, editing, and deleting conditions.

Filter

Use this box to narrow down the conditions that are displayed in the list. For example, if you type demo in the box, only conditions with "demo" in their name are displayed.

Condition

The name of the condition.

Document type

The document type that the condition is based on.

Details

States the condition as an expression.

Business rules

The number of business rules that use the condition.

This is significant because any changes you make to the condition will impact all of the business rules that use it.

Business rule groups

The number of business rule groups that use the condition.

Edit

Opens the Execution condition dialog, where you can edit the condition.

Note: Your changes will impact all business rules and business rule groups that use the condition.

Delete

Deletes the condition.

Add Condition

Opens the Execution condition dialog, where you can add a condition. Use a procedure similar to the one described in Adding a condition to a business rule or Adding a condition to a business rule group.
