Importing a form

Use this procedure to import a form and its panels:

1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Validation Designer. (For information about working with consoles, see XBOUND Help.)
2. Under Process Navigation, select a process.

3. Click the Check out button ().

4. Select File > Import > Form.

5. Select an OFX file to import.

6. In the Import form dialog, specify the name of the new form, the document type to connect it with, and which panels to import.

If field definitions are missing in the target process, a message is displayed. In this case you should cancel the import process, create the missing field definitions, and try again to import the form. Alternatively, you can proceed with the import, but then you must manually assign the missing field definitions to the controls using the control's FieldDefinition setting.
