Input forms for use in Verification: Overview

Forms specify how Verification (or Web Verification) works and what it looks like when you are verifying a specific document type. You need one "form" for each document type. Forms contain panels, which in turn contain controls.

There are different types of forms: one type for the Verification client and another (web forms) for the Web Verification client. Web forms are more limited. They have fewer options and cannot be customized as freely.

The Validation Designer is used to perform these required steps:

• create and configure forms

• add form panels*

• add controls to form panels*

• assign forms to process steps

• arrange form panels*

• change the tab order of controls*
   

You can also:

• add conditions that affect the appearance of forms at runtime*

• edit a form*

• add custom actions to forms*

• test forms

• import forms

• export forms

* These procedures do not apply to web forms.
