Rescanning an image

If the quality of scanned documents is not sufficient, replace them by rescanning them using XBOUND Rescan as described below.

Tip: Other methods are described in Rescanning images: Overview.

  1. Using Verification, select the image to rescan.

  2. Click the Rescan button ().

  3. In XBOUND Rescan, the image that you selected for rescanning is displayed in the Original Images area on the left side.

In the Original Images pane, click the Info tab to specify the resolution and format for rescanning.

  4. Press F6 or click the Start new scan icon (). Scanning begins, using the current scan profile.

Alternatively, press F7 or click the Start new scan with scanner dialog icon (). The scanner settings for the connected scanner are displayed. Any changes you make are used this time but are not saved for future use.

  5. The scanned image is now visible in the Scanned Images pane. Click the image in Original Images to assign the image that is displayed in the Scanned Images pane.

  6. Repeat the previous step until all scanned images are assigned.

  7. Select File > Save and exit to save the images.

When you are done working in Verification, save the root document.
