Verification

Note: Do not confuse Verification with Web Verification or with the XBOUND Document Verifier.

Use this stand-alone ReadSoft Capture Framework application to verify and correct the content and structure of documents.

The configuration of the Verification process step controls some of the behavior and functionality during Verification. The validation, which is configured using business rules in the Validation Designer, determines the next field to be corrected. The appearance and behavior of input forms are also configured in the Validation Designer.

Start Verification by selecting Start menu > All Programs > ReadSoft > ReadSoft Verification.

You can...

• select and open documents for processing

• add a new document, add a new page, or add a new sheet

• navigate between controls, within tables, and between documents/images/pages

• rescan an image

• restructure documents

• rotate an image

• zoom and scroll

• switch to a different page

• switch between the primary and secondary medium format

• view validation messages and information about form adjustments

• display or hide the read results

These options are also available

• Confirm a field, cell, table row, or table (change its validation status to Valid)

• Confirm a document (route the document despite its status being set to Invalid)

• Add and delete table rows

• Cancel a document (this excludes it from further processing)

• Cancel a page

• Change the document type (reclassify a document)

• Selecting a supplier

• Verify fields or table cells

• Verify fields using Knowledge Processing

• Check whether a document was interpreted using Knowledge Processing

• Correct spelling errors in text fields

• Clear a field or cell

• Crop a field or cell

• Insert extra lines of text in multi-line text fields or table cells

• Remove spaces at the beginning or end of a field or cell

• Search for and select master data

• Use rubberbanding to adopt the read results from the image

• Correct fields one character at a time (FixForm processing)

• Print images

• Set keyboard shortcuts for Verification

You can also change the colors of the field highlighting, change the color theme, and change the display language.

When you are done working in Verification, save the root document.
