Troubleshooting: Business rules not used in Verification

Solution: Assign the business rule group to one or more Verification steps – see instructions.

Suggested solutions:

• Remove the business rules that are associated with the deleted document type:

  1. Using the Validation Designer, check out the process.

  2. Select File > Open.

  3. In the Open business rule group or form dialog, select a business rule group to open and click OK.

  4. A message about orphaned business rules is displayed. Click Clean up to allow these to be deleted.

  5. Check in the process.

• Recreate the configuration for a newly added document type.

  Note: This option is complicated and should only be undertaken by experienced staff.

  1. Add a new document type with the same name.

  2. Run xboundOcfConnectorClient.exe from the XBOUND root directory.

  3. Navigate to the affected process and check it out.

  4. Go through the ValidationDefinition objects of the process and set the DocType property to the new document type. (Sample screenshot.)

     

  5. Check in the process.
